5-Here’s my question for class discussion: is it self-destructive for a religion to not try to convert others to their faith?  Why or why not?

 

 

 

 6-Why do you think Zen Buddhism became popular starting in the 1950s?  Has anyone came across that information?  Please share.

 

 

 

7-What are the effects of science on religion in the modern world? Do religions have an effect on science? Explain how.

 

 

 

8-This brings up an interesting question: do you think that if we had a better understanding of other religions there would be less anger and animosity toward others?

 

 

 

 The reason I mention this is because after 9/11, there was a growth in anger toward Muslims in the US.
